Commercial fit-out & maintenance
Electrical packages for office, retail and hospitality fit-outs, plus planned maintenance for occupied premises.
Commercial
Context
Commercial electrical work is a programme problem before it is a technical one. Landlord conditions, base-build limitations, other trades, out-of-hours access and trading continuity shape the sequence. The electrical package has to land in the right week, not simply be correct.
Signs that assessment may be needed
- 01A new lease, fit-out or reconfiguration of an occupied space
- 02Small works and reactive repairs accumulating without an owner
- 03Distribution reaching capacity as headcount or equipment grows
- 04Landlord or insurer requests for evidence of electrical condition
None of the above should be investigated by opening equipment, testing live circuits or resetting protective devices repeatedly. If any of it involves heat, smoke, water or a shock, read the safety guidance before anything else.
General scope
- Fit-out packages: distribution, small power, lighting, containment and final connections
- Coordination with base build, main contractor and other services trades
- Out-of-hours and phased works to protect trading and occupation
- Planned maintenance visits with a defined asset and defect register
- Reactive small works handled against an agreed scope and reporting format
